Moonlight, music and magic make a heady combination for romance at Sheraton Moana Surfrider’s weekly “Promise Me Again” program.  This free group wedding vow renewal ceremony guarantees refreshed commitment for couples participating. Couples from Hawaii , the  mainland and international countries gather each Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. to renew their marriage vows before a pastor and the public in the hotel’s Banyan Court.  Each spouse receives a fresh flower lei, compliments of the hotel, which they present lovingly to one another in emulation of an exchange of wedding bands.  Reverend Jim Hutcherson speaks words of inspiration and rededication to the group – couples who may have been married for several years, others for just several hours.  After reciting vows to one another, couples dance to the Sam Kapu Trio’s performance of I’ll Remember You, a well-known love ballad written by legendary Hawaiian singer/songwriter Kui Lee.  Each couple is given a complimentary congratulatory certificate as a treasured remembrance upon the conclusion of the ceremony.
