The resort does offer complimentary shuttle to most Restaurants, I found the meals at this hotel to be very expensive. Venture out to lunch or dinner. There is a grocery store within walking distance to pick up some goodies. There is also a patisserie where you can buy fresh crescents and coffee for about $12 USD.

I would recommend the garden bungalow with the plunge pool for ultimate in privacy. I like the beach bungalows because they are away from the hustle and bustle of the pool and restaurant. This is one of the few hotels that offer 4 adults in one room. Their family rooms are hotel rooms with a loft. They are back on the property closer to the road but with the air conditioner running you really can't hear the traffic.
Renting a car for one or two days gives you the chance to see the island. I would wait until I got there to decide on this. There is a car rental that is very reliable right across the street from the property called Albert’s. Albert practically owns the island and everyone seems to be related to him!
