One of the most romantic places to sleep, according to Conte Naste, is the Hostellerie de Crillon-Le-Brave. The 2 floor suite 33 at Hostellerie de Crillon-le-Brave near Avignon in the Provence region of France occupies a round tower. Downstairs, the living area has two freestanding bathtubs separated by an ice bucket for the Taittinger. Afterward, guests can walk upstairs to their bed, which is seven feet wide, with a Provencal fabric headboard and Belgian cotton sheets. While reclining, they can look out across the valley to Mont Ventoux, often a stop on the Tour de France.
