Le Meridien Tahiti Resort is located about 10 minutes from the Airport. It has a very nice sandy beach and an unusual sandy bottom pool. As of 2006, their rooms were renovated.  I liked the feel of the resort, it definitely has a French flair. This resort is very comfortable and easy to get around. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated with a separate shower and bath.  There are several restaurants to choose from and the food is delicious. It is great to see the island of Moorea from here so you can anticipate your next stop!
