This resort is located on the island Motu Tevairoa, 10 minutes by boat from the Bora Bora airport, 15 minutes from the main city of Bora Bora Vaitape. It offers 50 Over Water Bungalows, 10 Beach Bungalow Suites and 20 Garden Pool Suites.

I love all the categories here and you can't go wrong with the Garden/Pool Suites they are fantastic and very spacious, they have a private plunge pool and offer a lot of privacy. A covered sitting area with a table to enjoy some cheese and wine in the evening is always a wonderful amenity.  

This resort has so much to offer. Those going to Le Taha'a can take a Helicopter to the Island from here. It is only a 10 minute flight, the cost is $190 one way per person and it runs twice daily. I recommend a stay at Pearl for 4 nights and then take a Helicopter to Tahaa and stay 3 or 4 nights.

The pool area is lovely here and quite large. It has a shallow walkin entrance near the beach side. The beach is where they have the wedding ceremonie. It is small but works great for those wanting a non-legal traditional Tahitian wedding. This Bora Bora wedding is performed in the traditional Tahitian style.

The lagoon is shallow and sandy bottomed. They have a nursery where they are growing new coral. The fish life is starting to congregate near there. They have set up a snorkeling trail where you can see placards describing the different fish inhabiting the area. Sting rays are visible at times from your overwater bungalow.

They will have a massive new Spa open in May of 2006 and it looks incredible.  There are 2 restaurants on site and the food is very good but expensive. The snack bar near the pool offers great mahi-mahi and vegetarian sandwiches.

They offer complimentary shuttle service to the island every hour.  The Pearl also offers many complimentary services such as Snorkeling, Kayaking, Mini Golf  and more.  

All rooms are decorated beautifully and offer flat screen TV's and A/C. Overwater bungalows are large with a large bathroom and tub. Take your CD's with you! Outdoor showers on the deck is a welcome amenity to help get the salt water off your suit and snorkel equipment.

This is the ideal resort for Honeymooners and Couples. Day rooms are available on a first come/first serve basis and additional charge. There is plenty of room to shower and change before your flight back to the main land and reality.
